Weblinks - Bite 1, Page 14

This is one of those pages where I think it’s easier to write a book rather than illustrate. (grin)

Although, I did get to use the stamp tool in Clip Studio 5 in redoing this page. I haven’t been a big stamp person in the past because earlier versions of Manga Studio made it easier to do with tones. I’m still trying to figure out tones in Clip Studio 5 (CS5) just because of how they worked in Manga Studio 3, which is where I did most of this early work for Weblinks. I spent most of the weekend coloring in CS5 and so every time I went to tone in this page, I kept wanting to color it — it would’ve been faster. (grin – again) But, the stamps did look cool, giving me a better way to reflect the way Kaden is drying out and cracking and the way Caitlyn is growing into her being a vampire.

I still think it would’ve been easier to just say it in words.

That said, okay yes, I have been thinking about doing a novelization. What do you think of that? Would you vote “Yea” or “Nay”?
