Poor Caitlyn.

I never had issues like this in my childhood, but I had friends whose parents would say something like this to them. Saddened my heart each time.

But there’s more here.I realized this as I was re-toning the page. Dad is surrounded by a mist. In the original, there was no mist. It was added now for the revamped version. What exactly makes him say these things to Caitlyn? Is he being influenced by the negativity in the world around him? Is he watching the news — the biggest outlet of bad gossip we have? He does have a can of beer in his hand, although I don’t make reference to what it is — I know what it is. He’s just an average guy stuck in the rat race, do what he does every night after work. And he’s been influenced by everything he’s seen, heard, and said throughout the day. Not once has he thought to purify his mind from all the stuff that’s accumulated. It comes out spewing all over his daughter. Not only that, but he doesn’t notice the change that has come over her.
